“When people walk into our standard spec homes, they say ‘wow, this is spectacular.’ ”
In a spectacular, exclusive enclave in Rocky Ridge, Jager Homes is doing what they do best: Building quality homes.
Trail’s End is a subdivision of 70 lots in the northwest community, with Jager the only builder.
“We insisted on this exclusivity, as we wanted to ensure that the quality in the area was consistent,” says Jager general manager Joe Roland. “In this way, we are not only committed to finishing your home, but to finishing your community.”
The area, which consists of estate homes on large lots and plentiful green space, has been attracting a great deal of interest from those who already live in the community of Rocky Ridge. “A great deal of our traffic walks or bikes to the showhome,” Roland says. “This speaks volumes about the community — it’s a great family area and people want to stay and move up.”
The showhome , the 2,402-sq.-ft. Cypress, is worth coming to see. Done in a rustic contemporary style, there are unique, beautiful details that capture attention. Walking into the front living room, a soaring open to above gives a sense of balance and space.
Finished in warm woods and white tile emulating Italian marble, the home exudes a sense of luxury, says Roland.
“In the kitchen, we have top-end, built-in appliances, including dual dishwashers,”he says.
“A huge island stretching across the kitchen has a raised eating bar and is perfect for entertaining.”
Top-of-the-line technology is also found in the Cypress, with an iPad set in the wall that controls the audio of the home. Upstairs, a front bonus room has dramatic flair with a vaulted ceiling, but it’s the ensuite that steals the show.
Unique rock tile details vein the floor and tiled shower, while the soaker tub is positioned to be the central point of the room. His and hers walk-in closets will also be enjoyed. “With Jager Homes, we also put together a high-quality specification package that is appealing for any neighbourhood,” Roland says. “When people walk into our standard spec homes, they say, ‘wow, this is spectacular.’ We always keep a level of standards, no matter where we build.”
The standard package includes nine-ft. ceilings, gas fireplace with mantle, granite countertops, hardwood floors and high-quality carpet and soaker tubs in the ensuites.
Jager Hom es has been building homes in Calgary for more than six decades.
“We’ve been in business for 65 years and are the oldest builder in Western Canada,” says Roland. “Our goal is to build homes that work for the individual homeowner, putting in all the changes and customization they would like to see in the plans. “We have the experience and longevity to figure out what it is people want and we’re seeing that people want what we’re building at Trail’s End.”
